The Simple Version

We collect your email and Sleeper username. That's it. We use it to contact you about The Federation. We don't sell your data. We're not a tech company trying to monetize your existence. We're just running fantasy football leagues.

What We Collect

When you join our waitlist or submit feedback, we collect:

• Your email address (so we can contact you)
• Your Sleeper username (so we know who you are)
• Your league preferences (so we know what you want)
• Your feedback (because we actually read it)

What We Do With It

• Email you when spots open for 2026
• Send league updates and important announcements
• Use your feedback to evaluate potential improvements
• Keep track of who's on the waitlist

What We DON'T Do With It

• Sell it to advertisers (we're not that kind of operation)
• Share it with third parties (except Sleeper for league management and FanCred for payments)
• Email you about things unrelated to The Federation
• Track your browsing habits across the internet (we literally don't care)
• Use it for anything other than running The Federation

Cookies & Tracking

This site doesn't use tracking cookies. No analytics. No pixels. No surveillance capitalism. If you want to block everything anyway, go ahead. Your browser, your rules.

Third-Party Services

We use:

• Sleeper - League management platform (they have their own privacy policy)
• FanCred - Payment processing (they handle all money, we don't touch it). FanCred has their own privacy policy and KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements for payouts exceeding $500. If you win big, expect to verify your identity with them.

We're not responsible for their policies. Read theirs if you're concerned.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what data we have on you (it's just your email and preferences)
• Request we delete your data (email join@federationffl.com)
• Remove yourself from the waitlist (email join@federationffl.com)
• Not join the league (no hard feelings)

Note on emails: If you're a league member, you've agreed to receive league communications as part of participation. If you're on the waitlist, you signed up to be notified about league openings. In either case, relevant emails are part of the deal. Don't want emails? Don't join the league or the waitlist.

Data Security

Your data is stored on a secure database. We're not running this off a laptop in a coffee shop. Standard industry practices apply. That said, nothing is 100% secure. If you're worried about your Sleeper username being compromised, you've got bigger problems than fantasy football.

Children's Privacy

This is a fantasy football league for adults. If you're under 18, you are not permited to participate. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If we find out someone lied about their age, we'll remove them from the league and the database.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date below. We're not going to email you every time we fix a typo.
